Cancellation Policy

1. General Policy
This Cancellation Policy applies to all services provided by GetPrimeRide, including airport transfers, hourly service, long-distance trips, and dedicated or long-term chauffeur service.
A reservation is not considered confirmed until it has been reviewed and accepted by our company, and the required payment has been successfully received or authorized.
Cancellation terms may vary depending on the type of service booked. By confirming a reservation, the guest agrees to the terms outlined in this policy.
Changes to reservations are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. Additional charges may apply for modifications, waiting time, extra stops, extended service time, or other changes requested after the booking has been confirmed.
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 5 business days. Credits issued for future service are valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
2. Cancellation Time Limits
Because each vehicle and chauffeur is reserved in advance, cancellation notice is required to avoid charges. Cancellation terms vary depending on the type of service booked.
Airport & Cruise Port Transfers
- 48 hours or more before pickup — full refund
- Less than 48 hours but more than 1 hour before pickup — credit for future use
- Less than 1 hour before pickup — full charge
- Guest no-show — full charge
Hourly Service (minimum 2 hours)
- 48 hours or more before pickup — full refund
- Less than 48 hours but more than 2 hours before pickup — credit for future use
- Less than 2 hours before pickup — full charge
- Guest no-show — full charge
Long Distance Trips
- 48 hours or more before pickup — full refund
- Less than 48 hours but more than 2 hours before pickup — credit for future use
- Less than 2 hours before pickup — full charge
- Guest no-show — full charge
Dedicated / Long-Term Chauffeur Service
- 48 hours or more before scheduled service — full refund
- Less than 48 hours before service — credit for future use
- Same-day cancellation — full charge
Dedicated service may require a deposit and a minimum service period. Deposits are non-refundable. Unused time within the contract period is non-refundable.
3. Airport Pickups & Flight Delays
For airport pickups, we monitor flight status to adjust pickup time when possible. Complimentary waiting time for airport arrivals is 30 minutes from the scheduled pickup time.
After the complimentary waiting time, additional waiting may be charged if the vehicle is available. Waiting beyond 30 minutes is not guaranteed.
If the passenger does not appear within the allowed waiting time, the reservation may be considered a guest no-show.
4. Waiting Time Policy
- Regular pickups include 15 minutes of complimentary waiting time
- Airport arrivals include 30 minutes of complimentary waiting time
- After the complimentary waiting period, additional waiting time may be charged
- Waiting beyond 30 minutes is not guaranteed and depends on vehicle availability
- For hourly service, time begins at the scheduled pickup time, regardless of passenger readiness
5. Guest No-Show Policy
A reservation may be considered a no-show if:
- The passenger does not appear within the allowed waiting time
- The passenger cannot be reached using the provided contact information
- The passenger refuses the ride
- The passenger is not ready for pickup within the scheduled time window
In case of no-show, the full amount of the reservation will be charged. Service may be refused without refund if a passenger arrives with a pet or animal.
6. Changes & Rescheduling
Changes to pickup time, location, duration, or service type are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. Modification requests must be approved by the company. Additional charges may apply for changes, including but not limited to:
- Schedule changes
- Additional stops
- Extended service time
- Vehicle upgrades
- Last-minute requests
If the requested change cannot be accommodated, the original reservation remains in effect and cancellation terms apply.
7. Refunds & Credits
Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 5 business days. In some cases, a credit for future service may be issued instead of a refund.
Credits are valid for 6 months from the date issued. Credits are non-transferable and may only be used for future bookings with our company.
Refunds or credits may be issued at the discretion of the company depending on the circumstances of the cancellation.
8. Additional Charges
Additional charges may apply for:
- Waiting time beyond included limits
- Additional stops not included in the original booking
- Extended service time
- Route changes
- Cleaning required due to excessive mess
- Damage to the vehicle
- Tolls, parking, or entry fees
- Child seats or special equipment
- Excessive luggage
The guest authorizes the company to charge the payment method on file for any additional costs related to the reservation.
Requests for additional services during the ride are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. All such requests must be reviewed and approved by GetPrimeRide. Verbal or informal requests are not considered confirmed until approved and paid.
9. Force Majeure / Delays
The company is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather, flight delays or cancellations, road closures, accidents, mechanical issues, public events, acts of God, or actions of third parties.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide service as scheduled, but timing cannot be guaranteed under such conditions.
10. Agreement
By booking service with GetPrimeRide, the guest confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation Policy.
